UFC lightweights Melvin Guillard and Ross Pearson will face off in the co-main event for the upcoming UFC Fight Night.

The fight was announced on UFC Tonight Tuesday .

After back-to-back losses, Guillard earned his first victory in over a year at UFC On Fox: Johnson Vs. Moraga last month. The 30-year-old faced off against 33-year-old Mac Danzig, scoring a knockout victory at 2:47 in the second round.

“This win means a lot to me. It means I can put those two losses behind me. I can get back to winning and get back to the top five,” Guillard said after the match. “There’s no pressure – as long as I’m well-prepared and train hard, no one can beat me at 155. This is a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.”

Prior to that bout, Guillard suffered a split decision loss to former WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner at UFC 155 in December 2012. Before that, he fought Donald Cerrone at a 157.5 pound catchweight at UFC 150. Cerrone knocked out Guillard at 1:16 in the first round.

On the opposite side of the coin, Pearson is coming off back-to-back victories. After a two-fight stint at featherweight, Pearson returned to lightweight against George Sotiropoulos at UFC On Fox: Sotiropoulos Vs. Pearson in December 2012. The 28-year-old scored a TKO win at 0:41 in the third round. At UFC On Fuel TV: Mousasi Vs. Latifi in April, Pearson scored another TKO victory against Ryan Couture at 3:45 in round two.

The main event for UFC Fight Night will be Michael Bisping vs. Mark Munoz. The two verbally agreed to to the fight in mid-July , and the match was confirmed Sunday. The match will mark Bisping’s first time fighting in his hometown of Manchester, England, in over four years. The last time the 34-year-old fought at home, he beat Denis Kang by TKO at 4:24 in round two.
