Matt Drudge Criticizes Republicans, Shows Horrible State Of The Party

Matt Drudge, one of the world’s most famous conservative political commentators with his news website the Drudge Report, took to Twitter to criticize his own party. Drudge posted on Twitter about the current messed up state of the Republican party, and simply asked, why would anyone vote for them?

Why would anyone vote Republican? Please give reason. Raised taxes; marching us off to war again; approved more NSA snooping. WHO ARE THEY?!

He went on to say that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats. Instead, the world is really just split between Authoritarians and Libertarians.

In many ways, I tend to disagree with Matt Drudge simply because he is too conservative on some issues for my liking. However, with these statements, I am completely on-board with Drudge.

It’s now Authoritarian vs. Libertarian. Since Democrats vs. Republicans has been obliterated, no real difference between parties…

The parties are really the same. Republicans and Democrats sometimes act as though they are different on relatively small issues but when it comes to actual political agendas, they are no different.

Both parties would have gotten the US into Syria one way or another–assuming the US does strike Syria, which it will–and world affairs would rarely end up different with either party in control.

The reason for this comes down to who has power. As many conspiracy theorists like to say “Cui Bono?” Which means, “Who Benefits?” and whether a Republican or a Democrat is in charge, they are always going to be pawns for the people that are actually benefiting from wars and other power trips.

In a Drudge Report poll which Matt Drudge also tweeted about, more than 500,00 people voted on the Syria issue. Just 8.44 percent were for an intervention.
