Mariah Carey doesn’t care if you don’t like or appreciate her. The diva will push on with her career despite all the negativity lately. Deadline says Mariah Carey ‘s next big project is a Christmas movie.
“ New Line has pre-emptively bought an untitled Mariah Carey Christmas pitch from RatPac Entertainment, writers David Diamond and David Weissman and producer Jon Shestack. The plan is for Carey to play a major role in the film. The project came about when Carey brought an idea to RatPac principal and her pal Brett Ratner for a movie about Christmas.”
This may be a good move for Mariah Carey, as long as her acting is more Precious than Glitter . Mariah Carey’s name is also synonymous with Christmas as her hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is one of the biggest Christmas songs ever. Unfortunately, Mariah Carey put a dent in her Christmas reputation late last year when she performed at the Rockefeller Center. The Wrap described what was a PR disaster for Mariah Carey .
“Carey hasn’t said anything since her performance, but to say it didn’t go well would be an understatement. Her signature vocal range appeared to be greatly limited, with the diva straining to reach certain notes and choosing to avoid others altogether in a messy rendition of her own Christmas classic.”
However, Mariah soon performed after the Rockefeller event at the Beacon Music Theater, and fans were absolutely thrilled.

Last week, the Daily Mail reported that Nick Cannon is about to write a tell-all book on his ex-wife.
“Nick Cannon has signed and sealed a deal to write a tell-all book about his marriage to Mariah Carey – and she is furious about him betraying her. Mariah rejected Nick’s numerous demands for a $30 million divorce settlement so now he’s writing the book — saying he plans get his payday for being married to her one way or another – and there is nothing she can do about it because he already signed the deal last week with major publishing company Simon and Schuster.”
This weekend, Mariah Carey proved that she is a great parent by agreeing to get together with Nick Cannon and the kids for Easter. According to TMZ , the two temporarily put aside their differences for the sake of the kids. However, you can bet that we will soon hear more dirt on the couple’s divorce, which seems to never end. Mariah Carey has proven to be a survivor and fans are hopeful she can shine again in the very near future.
