It is no secret that Mariah Carey has got two adorable children, twins Morrocan and Monroe, with ex-husband Nick Cannon, and she is preparing to show the America’s Got Talent host just how much she appreciates him and the role he plays as father to her sweethearts by preparing to throw him one fantastic Father’s Day.
The songstress, who is getting ready to set off on tour with Lionel Richie this summer, spoke about her relationship status, including that with backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, while also sharing about how she intends to spoil Cannon.
Entertainment Tonight notes the words of Carey , regarding her life since her divorce and how she and Nick Cannon have managed to remain so amicable these past two years since their 2014 split.
“He’s a good guy. It’s not that hard to make it work. Now we can laugh, and joke, and do the good parts of when we had a relationship. “
The 47-year-old also shares as to why she is set to make Cannon’s Father’s Day a very special one, stating, “He’s the kids’ father and he does really nice things for me on Mother’s Day, so yeah,”
It is certainly not a surprise that Mariah is most smitten these days with her twins, and made sure to share how in love she is with her little ones.
“I love them so much. They make me so happy. I mean, there are no words for me to really explain it.”
As noted, Carey was sure to share with the publication that she is, in fact, “single” despite the ongoing reports that have linked her to her ex-husband, claiming that the former couple have rekindled a romance.

Additionally, most recently, rumors have swirled that Mariah is back together with Bryan Tanaka. Despite reports like those by the Daily Mail , this too appears to be false. Rumors were likely ignited due to Mariah and the 34-year-old being spotted out together. The two remain friends due to their working relationship and because they are often in close proximity much of the time.

Mariah Carey seems to be purely enjoying her time with her children and focusing on her career. After being dumped by James Packer late last year, and finalizing her divorce with Nick Cannon shortly after, then heading into a whirlwind romance with Bryan Tanaka which quickly fizzled, perhaps taking time as single Mimi is just what the superstar needs,
