Maci Bookout’s son has reportedly seen the last of MTV cameras. According to a May 4 report by the Examiner , Maci Bookout didn’t quit the series after learning Farrah Abraham would return, but she did restrict producers from filming anything involving her 6-year-old.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Maci Bookout was furious after learning producers had decided to bring Abraham back after initially telling her she would not be seen on the show. In fact, Bookout quit Teen Mom OG , but eventually returned after working out a deal with MTV.
At the end of last month, Maci Bookout appeared on a Teen Mom OG: After Show . While chatting with the show’s host, Bookout explained her decision to return to the show , but ban MTV from filming her son.
“After I left the show I was able to move away from my emotions and my anger from MTV kind of throwing me a good look loop and decide that I wanted to be on the show. I think it is important for all four of us to be on the show. I was able to create a situation that I thought was good for Bentley and good for myself and the show.”
The situation that Maci Bookout created involved her and her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, as well as Bentley’s father, Ryan Edwards, continuing on with the series, while Bentley would be left out.
“It had been a previous conversation when they first approached me about doing the show in the first place. They knew that my only concerns were if all four of us were gonna be on the show together that I would just take Bentley out of filming.”
Maci Bookout’s major decision will surely change the pace of the show. For years, fans have followed Bookout and Edwards in their co-parenting relationship, and while that will likely still be seen, it will certainly be odd not seeing Bentley.
As for Bookout’s second child, Jayde Carter, who is due next month, she will likely be kept away from the cameras, as well. After all, Bookout’s main concern is how Abraham’s adult film career will impact Bentley, so it seems safe to assume the same concern would apply to Jayde.
Maci Bookout’s ex-boyfriend, Edwards, has yet to speak out on her decision to take Bentley away from the cameras.
