Lori Loughlin and John Stamos were married for years on the show Full House but their off-screen relationship never got off the ground .
Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse on the show, recently referred to Loughlin, who played Becky Katsopolis, as “the one who got away.”
Stamos was on Huff Post Live on Friday when he started talking about his relationship with Loughlin. The actor said that he is still good friends with his co-star but he also expressed a little regret that they were never in a serious relationship.
The actor said that they did go on a couple of dates when they were 18 or 19 but that the timing never worked for a serious relationship.
Stamos said: “We went on a date to Disneyland before we were both married. In real life, when we were 18, 19. We did have some off timing, but no disrespect to her family and her husband now, I would say that she could be the one that got away.”
Stamos said that he is still friends with Loughlin. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like anything will ever happen between Uncle Jess and Becky Kastopolis again since Louglin is happily married to Mossimo Giannulli.
Stamos said: “She’s one of my dearest friends and that’s good enough. But I really do adore her.”
