Lolo Jones obviously wasn’t too pleased with her check from the US Bobsled Skeleton Federation as she posted her pay on the popular video sharing app called Vine . Jones was originally a talented Olympic hurdler, but she’s recently made the move to bobsledding where she competed on the World Cup circuit this past winter.

During the 2012 Olympics, the 30-year-old failed to medal as she finished fourth in the 100 meter hurdles. Her career in track and field has slowly disappeared ever since, but the odd move to bobsledding has actually shown some results.

At the 2012 FIBT World Championships in St. Moritz, she won gold with the US mixed team over second-place Germany. From three NCAA titles at LSU to a major jump into the bobsledding circuit, Jones has transitioned well but it’s obviously not bringing in the big bucks.

Her Vine post was accompanied by a simple statement that reads, “I’m going to be short on my rent this month…”

It’s hard to tell if Lolo Jones was simply joking around or is actually serious, but she definitely played the video quite well with a little dialogue.

“Seven months with bobsled season. The whole season. That’s it,” she said in the post. Another social media breakdown is in the works, but the most likely conclusion is that Jones was having some fun with the popular app.

Throughout her career, Jones has held many endorsements and has always been a considerably well-paid Olympian. It’s unknown how far her new career in bobsledding will go, but she’s already enjoying herself with the $741.84 paycheck.

Here’s the 11-time All American’s Vine that has caused quite the debate on the web.

She was named to the US National bobsled team in October of 2012 before posting a second-place finish in her first competition the following month with teammate Jazmine Fenlator. They pulled off the great finish at the 2012 World Championships, which was the start Jones was looking for as she moved over to bobsledding.

Do you think the switch to bobsledding was the right decision for Lolo Jones?
