Lisa Rinna opened up about the season 5 reunion special in her latest Real Housewives of Beverly Hills blog. Speaking to fans on April 1, Rinna, who joined the show last year, commented on Brandi Glanville’s drinking and Kim and Kyle Richards’ strained relationship .
“I think Lisa V. said it perfectly when she spoke of Brandi’s drinking. She’s absolutely right to point out that that when Brandi drinks, it may not be a problem in her life, but it certainly becomes our group’s problem when she does it around us.”
Lisa Rinna and the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have seen Glanville’s drinking turn into a problem on a number of occasions, and Eileen Davidson’s poker night was one of those occasions. During the party, Glanville and Kim Richards appeared be acting out of control, and after plenty of wine for Glanville, and a pain pill for Richards, which she later admitted to taking, they made for quite the awkward couple.
“Eileen was also right to point out that she only commented on Brandi’s negative behaviors that happened while in her presence. One of those times happening in her own home!”
As Lisa Rinna and her co-stars looked on, Glanville and Richards laughed their night away, making odd statements and gestures towards the cast before leaving early. On the way out, Glanville engaged in a physical altercation with Kyle Richards after she attempted to reach her sister before she left Davidson’s home.
Since that moment, the Richards sisters’ relationship has become more and more strained. During the reunion show, Kyle, a longtime friend of Lisa Rinna, and Kim went head-to-head after spending three months estranged prior to filming.
“I knew how stressful it was for [Kyle] to be in this situation. Having to see her sister for the first time in months with cameras around can’t be easy, but of course, she remained strong, and I’m proud of her for that.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Lisa Rinna had her own issues with Kim at the reunion, as well. As was seen in a sneak peek at the three-part installment, Kim, who recently signed on to appear in Sharknado 3 , slammed Lisa Rinna for doing a Depends commercial, and not having as much pride in her work as she does.
