Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods are still dating, and seem happier now more than ever before. In a somewhat rare interview, Vonn got candid about her relationship with the pro-golfer. According to CNN , Vonn is ready to get back into the competitive sports world after a couple of years of rehabilitation and setbacks. She credits her boyfriend for giving her the motivation and the inspiration to move forward, and to succeed.
“Tiger and I both went through rehab with our injuries at a similar time, so we were both in the gym together and pushing each other and motivating each other, both frustrated. I think we both helped each other a lot through that time, and I drew a lot of inspiration from him and I think he does the same with me. We continue to push each other and it’s a really positive relationship in that way.”
Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods will both be competing in their respective sports this week. According to Yahoo! News , Woods will be playing in the Hero World Challenge in Orlando, Florida, while Vonn will ski at a World Cup event in Canada. Naturally the two would like to be together to support each other, but it sounds like they did a lot to get each other ready for the next steps in their careers.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , there have been plenty of break-up rumors surrounding Vonn and Woods’ relationship. In March, they will have been together for two years, but that hasn’t stopped all kinds of speculation. Most recently, there have been rumors that Tiger wants to reconcile with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren.
“The model and mother to two of Tiger’s kids recently split from her boyfriend, billionaire Chris Cline, leading to speculation that Tiger may leave Lindsey Vonn and try to re-kindle the romance with his ex.”
However, Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods are still together. They seem to get along because they can truly relate to one another on a different level. Despite having an apparent romantic connection, the two have really bonded over their careers as athletes.
“For us, we’re just two athletes trying to do the best we can in our sports. There’s other stuff that goes along with it for both of us, there’s media and stuff like that,” Vonn told CNN .
