Liam Payne is taking his Duck Dynasty love to the next level.
The One Direction singer has made it no secret that he’s a fan of the Robertson clan, and it looks like now the feeling is mutual. According to The Mirror , Liam Payne and a few of his friends recently visited the Duck Dynasty stars at their home in Louisiana. Payne and his pals shot clay pigeons, and they showed off the guns that they used while posing for a photo that has gone viral. Unfortunately for Liam, many Directioners weren’t happy about his decision to pose with the deadly weapon.

This isn’t the first time Liam Payne has caused controversy by showing his love for the Duck Dynasty crew. Earlier this year, Payne tweeted his support for the Robertsons after Phil Robertson came under fire for making vile and disturbing comments about gay men during a GQ interview. Phil compared homosexuality to bestiality and had a bit too much to say about men’s anuses.
According to Gawker , “Payne effectively made it seem like he supports Robertson’s beliefs, anus-related opinions in all.”

In many conservative circles, the term “family values” is code for families made up of a man, his wife, and their children. Politicians use the term to let their constituents know that they exclude gay men and women from their vision of an ideal America. Obviously others who don’t fit this mold are also left out and treated like second-class citizens.
After experiencing a major backlash for showing his support for the Duck Dynasty clan, Liam lashed out at those who started treating him differently because of his love for the Robertsons.

This wouldn’t be the only time Liam Payne would find himself embroiled in a scandal involving homosexuality. As The Inquisitr previously reported, photos recently circulated online that supposedly showed Liam performing a sex act with another man. Payne denied that he was the man in the photo and tweeted that he’s “100% not gay” and “100% not homophobic.”
