Leah Messer may have been seen nearly falling asleep while holding her brother’s baby, but according to the Teen Mom 2 star, the show scene wasn’t accurate! Over the weekend, Leah Messer took to Twitter, where she denied having a drug problem once again, and claimed she didn’t almost drop her niece while nodding out.

@lindseybaldree that wasn’t accurate either.. My brother was like… Wtf?

Then, when the fan noted her alleged “drug nod,” Leah Messer revealed she would soon bring awareness to issues not yet seen on the show.

@lindseybaldree you’re exactly right and if it was a drug problem absolutely! There is other issues that I promise I will bring awareness..

Despite Leah Messer’s tweet, she clearly seemed to nearly fall asleep while holding the baby, Bailey, and as Radar Online previously revealed, MTV was forced to use subtitles to decipher her slurred words before the baby was taken from her. The site also claimed Messer’s eyes were rolling to the back of her head as her brother attempted to “revive” her.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Leah Messer’s on-screen behavior throughout Season 6 of Teen Mom 2 has raised several concerns about both her well-being and the well-being of her children, but unfortunately, scenes from the show cannot be used against her in court. According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup , the contracts of MTV stars restrict footage from being used — regardless of how relevant it may appear to be to the case.

“Legally, Corey can’t use the footage from the show against [Leah Messer], no matter how damning,” an insider told The Ashley last month. “Nothing in the show can be used in court by parties that have signed contracts. The reason is because in the contracts it says that MTV has the right to portray things however they want.”

The site also claimed Simms had attempted to use Teen Mom 2 footage against Leah Messer in court, but was shot down.

“The contracts state that the show may not depict a whole truth. So when Corey tried [to use the episodes] as evidence in court, the judge said no right off the bat.”

Leah Messer entered treatment for issues of anxiety and depression, or so she claimed, in late May, and returned home in June.

For more Leah Messer, tune into Teen Mom 2 Season 6 on Thursday nights at 10 p.m. on MTV.
