Leah Kirwan Sings Duet With Her Biggest Little Fan, And It’ll Bring Tears To Your Eyes [Video]

Leah Kirwan is a teenager from Ireland with a gift for singing, and that gift was on full display in a recent video that has gone viral, racking up close to 700,000 views and attracting the attention of People magazine.

But while Leah’s voice is undoubtedly angelic as she croons “Titanium” by David Guetta and Sia, it isn’t her talent that has attracted the attention of the world, but her heart.

The teen from Carlingford asked her little brother, Noah, to join her for the song, and while it’s her vocals and talent on the strings that make this a joy to listen to, it’s her love for Noah and his admiration for her that leave most who see it misty-eyed.

“The love I have for this wee boy is insane,” Leah writes in one Facebook post. “He always succeeds to make me smile.”

Noah looks unsure of himself as the video begins, but as big sis hits the chorus, he chimes in, and it is nothing short of adorable.

That sweet high-five and kiss at the end doesn’t hurt anything either. It’s good to see two siblings this crazy about each other.

Have a look for yourself if you’re in a mood for a break from the (mostly) negative headlines out there.

Some commenters called it “very cute,” and one commenter with a cousin who has Down Syndrome, said his family member has a passion for music, as well.

One even said that Leah Kirwan should consider trying out for The Voice, which doesn’t sound like a bad idea. A look through Leah’s Facebook Page, however, shows that one of the most important things to the young lady isn’t a singing career but the respect and dignity of other Down Syndrome persons.

You don’t have to look far to see inspirational posts from the teen, one including the first Down Syndrome woman to ever be given a modeling contract, “and I think she’s gorgeous,” the meme says.

Leah has as good a shot as any of getting her music career off the ground, though. This post has already garnered more than 12,000 shares from her Facebook page alone, and it’s also appearing on YouTube and a variety of other online media outlets ( Inquisitr included).

What do you think, readers?

Does Leah Kirwan have what it takes to become a global music sensation, and how adorable did you find her video with Noah? Sound off in the comments section.
