Lauri Waring and Vicki Gunvalson weren’t on the best of terms after Waring’s guest appearance on The Real Housewives of Orange County last year, but after a recent run-in in Southern California, they appeared to be civil once again.
On May 7, Lauri Waring spoke of her “run-in” with Gunvalson during an interview with Real Mr. Housewife .
“Vicki and I were both invited on a yacht full of women entrepreneurs. We are both starting up an eboutique MKCollab that was founded by my friend who is a clothing designer and who introduced me to George.”
Although Lauri Waring was featured as a full-time housewife during the first few seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County , she eventually left the show, choosing to instead focus on life with husband George Peterson and their many children. In the years since, Lauri Waring has made a handful of appearances on the show, the latest of which caused quite the stir.
Luckily, Lauri Waring’s relationship with Gunvalson wasn’t affected by her recent appearance.
“On the yacht Vicki saw me before I saw her. She actually approached me and gave me a hug and said she had been watching my social media and she was glad that I was so happy and that our family was well. We spoke briefly about our grandchildren and the death of her mother. We proceeded to take many photos for people. In a nutshell, that was it. This was our first ‘run in’ since the reunion. I was pleased that Vicki handled herself so well and that she was able to be socially polite.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the upcoming 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County will reportedly include a handful of returning housewives , including Jeana Keough, Lynne Curtin, and Tammy Knickerbocker, who were spotted during filming on the finale episode of the series.
Although Lauri Waring was not photographed at the cast’s White Party last weekend, it is possible that fans will see her at some point throughout the season. However, judging by her confirmation of not having seen Gunvalson since last year, her scenes would not include Gunvalson.
In recent years since leaving the show, Lauri Waring has been caught in the news a number of times because of son Josh Waring’s legal missteps. As fans saw on the show, Josh has struggled with drug use in the past, and may still be struggling today.
