Lark Voorhies’ mom got a restraining order against her daughter’s new husband, driving a wedge between their family.
According to Fox 411 , Voorhies’ mom, Tricia, was granted a temporary restraining order against Jimmy Green, 31, just two months after he married her daughter in an ultra private Las Vegas ceremony. It was after the wedding that Lark’s family found out that police were looking for Green, and now many feel that the Saved By The Bell actress is in danger.
“Jimmy is wanted for disorderly conduct and threatening in 2012… Lark’s rep confirmed the news saying, ‘We’re still looking into everything. Lark and her mother are spending more time together,’” reports Fox 411.
Lark Voorhies doesn’t have a restraining order against her husband and doesn’t seem to be overly concerned with her safety. That could be because Green told her — and the media — that this case isn’t that big of a deal.
“It was just a misdemeanor. They are blowing it out of proportion. Whatever happened, it is in my past. I am a changed man.”
According to Mail Online , Tricia claims that Jimmy has been staying in her home , and that he’s threatened to kill her. She also claims that he is a member of the Los Angeles street gang the Bloods, and that he would “hurl gang signs” in her direction when the two would argue. Although she has tried to throw him out on several occasions, he doesn’t leave, and she says that she finds him sleeping in strange places — like in the closet.
The temporary restraining order granted to Tricia should keep Jimmy 100 yards away from her and her house.
Jimmy has reportedly admitted to being a Blood, but says that he doesn’t have any intention of harming Voorhies’ mom.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Voohries’ family wants her to get her marriage annulled . However, Lark says that she knew about Jimmy’s past before she married him, and she intends to stick by her husband’s side and to see all of this through. If Jimmy does end up going to court, and the case is thrown out, chances are Lark will stay with him. Believe it or not, this is what Tricia actually wants.
“I hope he proves to be everything that she hopes him to be,” Tricia said. It is unknown if she will drop her restraining order if it turns out that Jimmy is telling the truth about being a “changed man.”
