Lamar Odom hopes to be Keeping Up with the Kardashians again after his ex-wife Khloe called off her relationship with rapper French Montana.
Khloe and her boyfriend broke up this week, a situation that’s reportedly very pleasing to Lamar Odom.
A source told Hollywood Life that Lamar never saw Khloe going anywhere with French Montana. Now that they two have split, he reportedly wants to make a move.
“It makes it that much easier for him to get back with her and be her husband. He wasn’t too fond of that rapper anyway and he thought he was a sucker — Khloe’s rebound man,” the source said.
But Lamar Odom could have some difficulty winning Khloe Kardashian back. Sources say that Khloe’s overly involved mom, Kris Jenner, isn’t too found of Lamar.
He could also face some competition in French Montana . After the breakup, the rapper posted a forlorn note to Instagram , one hinting that he’s not over her yet.
Using a quote by poet Robert M. Drake, Montana posted, “”Maybe one day we’ll find that place where you and I could be together. And we’ll catch our dreams within the waves of change. So smile for me one last time and believe that we’ll meet again. Until then, I’ll be missing you.”
But in other venues, French Montana doesn’t seem to be doing too badly. He told People that he’s doing just fine with the breakup.
“I’m feeling great. Feeling great and looking even better,” the rapper said.
Though rumors once indicated that Khloe and Montana were trying to have a baby, the relationship ultimately fizzled. The incredible attention of the Kardashian family may have played a role, as French Montana wasn’t too enthusiastic about appearing on their series of reality shows.
“The thing about they TV show that I respect is that at first, I was telling Khloe I didn’t want to be on it. Me telling her that is like trying to ruin her thing. They show us more… It’s really reality, what they do every day. So, if she comin’ to see me, they like, ‘We have to do this. How much do he need? We gotta buy his time.’ That’s the thing with them. I’m sure Kanye didn’t want to be on there, too. But they was like, ‘Nah.’”
Lamar Odom might need to do quite a bit of work to win Khloe Kardashian over again. The couple had a very public breakup, including Lamar resisting the Kardashian family’s pleas to go to rehab.
