Lala Kent will make her series debut on Vanderpump Rules Season 4 later tonight, and ahead of the new episode, Scheana Marie Shay and Katie Maloney spoke of their newest co-star and fellow employee at SUR Lounge.
“Um… [Lala kent]’s a free spirit?” Shay told Entertainment Tonight Online on November 9.
“I don’t know. She’s really young. I think [Lala Kent] just is figuring a lot out. I’ve had a big sister, like, talk with her and tried to give her advice, which she takes none of … so, we’ll see.”
During the trailer for Vanderpump Rules Season 4, it is revealed that James Kennedy hooks up with Lala Kent a short time after splitting from Kristen Doute, whom he dated for the entirety of Season 3, and some of Season 4. It has also been reported that Kennedy may have cheated on Doute, although that has yet to be confirmed.

“I’ve have had some struggles with [Lala Kent],” Maloney said. “I just see her as someone who’s still young and figuring things out, and you know, she’s got a pretty bold personality along the way, so, I don’t know. I don’t know how long she’ll last.”
During tonight’s episode, Lala Kent reportedly calls out of work to tend to a “modeling job” just days after being hired, and later in the show, it is revealed that Lala Kent lied to boss Lisa Vanderpump.
“Starting off, like, lying and being shady is not gonna, like, get you friends or in good with management, or anything with the sort,” Shay tells Lala Kent in a sneak peek clip at tonight’s new episode. “You wanna start pissing people off before you’re even on the schedule?”
Although Lala Kent seems to have gotten off to a rocky start at SUR Lounge, Shay claims she’s been a good addition to the show.
“I think the dynamics as a friend group are different [this year],” Shay continued to Entertainment Tonight Online . “I think Lala’s definitely involved herself more in our group of friends than Vail did.”

As fans will recall, Vail Bloom began starring on Vanderpump Rules during Season 3 as a hostess at SUR Lounge. However, throughout the series, Bloom’s role on the show diminished, and eventually, she left the restaurant.
While it was never confirmed by Bravo, Bloom was believed to have been brought to the reality series to replace Stassi Schroeder, and during the show, she was hit on by both Jax Taylor and Peter Madrigal. Then, ahead of Season 4, it has been rumored that Lala Kent may be Schroeder’s new replacement.
With Schroeder’s role on Vanderpump Rules continuing to be featured less and less, Bravo is in need of a replacement, and although fans will have to wait until the series wraps to see if Lala Kent could be the person to replace the fashion blogger, Shay’s comments seem to hint that she’s on the right track to becoming a full-time cast member on the show. And if that happens, fans may not see much more of Schroeder.
As for Lala Kent’s current relationship with Kennedy, the two reality stars appear to be officially dating. In recent photos of Lala Kent and Kennedy online, the pair have been seen kissing and making their affection for one another no secret.
