Lady Gaga is the Tweetiest Tweet that ever Tweeted. The Queen Monster now has more than 25 million Twitter followers, more than 2.5 million more than Justin Bieber.
Lady Gaga wrote:
“#25milliontweetymonsters wow! I’m officially feeling like the luckiest girl in the world today.”
Lady Gaga celebrated her 25 millionth Twitter follower by sending out a picture of herself dressed up as Marilyn Monroe. ( Gaga’s photo is great but we may soon get to look at the real thing once again as a Marilyn Monroe hologram is in the works.)
Monroe would have turned 86 today. Gaga wrote:
“#HappyBirthdayMarilyn They’ll never take our blonde hair and lipstick.”
According to the Hollywood Reporter , Gaga is the most followed person on Twitter. She has 2.5 million more followers than Justin Bieber, 4.6 million more than Katy Perry, and 5.3 million more than Rihanna.
Eight of the most followed people on Twitter are singers, but President Barack Obama and Kim Kardashian both have strong Twitter followings. Obama is the 7th most followed person on Twitter with 16 million followers and the reality star sits in 8th with 14.8 million followers.
