Ladies of London star Juliet Angus is back on the second season, and she is carrying on her grudges from last season. It is no secret that Juliet has struggled to become close with Marissa Hermer. The two were not best friends last year, and there were clearly some class issues that prevented them from clearly getting to know one another. While Marissa felt that Angus was desperate to climb the social ladder, Juliet felt that Hermer was too rude to acknowledge their American heritage that bonded them.
This season, their friendship seems over and done with. Ladies of London star Juliet Angus decided to confront Marissa on this week’s episode, and it was an emotional get-together over tea. Juliet seemed emotional when talking to Marissa about their failing friendship and how they were going to go from being close friends to simply acquaintances. But it sounds like Angus has more on her mind these days.
According to a new Bravo report, Ladies of London star Juliet Angus is now slamming Marissa for their meeting and says that Hermer acts as if she is so much better than Angus. In fact, Juliet isn’t surprised that things went down as they did.
“I can no longer be surprised by what Marissa does, now that I understand what drives her. Underneath the glossy veneer, her actions line up perfectly to her motives,” Juliet writes in her blog, adding “Tea was proof and culmination of Marissa’s way or the highway behavior – you’re either on the invite or you’re not. There is no give and take balance available from her nor empathy and compromise like in any healthy genuine relationship.”
And it sounds like their Ladies of London co-stars have various theories as to why their friendship is failing. While some believe that Marissa does feel that she is better than Juliet, others believe that Juliet is just so desperate to become a part of the inner British circle.
“I think Juliet feels some animosity to Marissa, who married a Brit. When you marry a Brit you do not have to work as hard to get into those circles. Marissa has made it and Juliet does not have that,” Ladies of London co-star Julie Montagu revealed during a scene on Monday’s episode according to the Daily Mail , adding later, “I feel bad for the drama between Marissa and I. Marissa is on some crazy mission I guess, I just don’t get it.”
It sounds like Angus isn’t the only person who struggles to be friends with Hermer. It will be interesting to see how this season unfolds.
