Kyron Horman vanished over three years ago. On June 4, 2010, Terri Horman reportedly drove her step-son to Skyline Elementary School. She says she kissed him goodbye in the hallway — just outside his classroom. The 7-year-old was never seen again.
Despite a massive investigation, there were few clues in the child’s disappearance. As tension mounted, Kaine Horman started to question his wife’s story.
Less than a month after Kyron disappeared, Kaine filed for divorce. In the complaint, he requested a restraining order against his estranged wife.
As reported by KGW , Terri Horman’s story became a topic of rumors and speculation.
Terri claims she dropped Kyron off in the hallway at school. However, his teacher recorded him as absent that day. Nobody at the school remembers seeing Kyron Horman after Terri left.
Kyron’s mother, Desiree Young, eventually filed a lawsuit against Terri. The civil case claimed that Terri was responsible for Kyron’s disappearance. Young eventually dismissed the lawsuit as she did not want to interfere with the criminal investigation .
On Tuesday morning, Kaine appeared on Dr. Phil with Young. Both parents agree that Terri was responsible for Kyron’s disappearance. However, Young blames her ex-husband for ignoring warning signs.
As reported by Oregon Live , Kaine was having an affair with Terri while he and Young were still married.
Kaine and Terri were eventually married. However, Young believes Kaine was cheating on Terri when Kyron disappeared.
Young believes Terri harmed Kyron as revenge.
In addition to the alleged affair , Young accuses Kaine of ignoring their son’s behavior. Kyron reportedly cried when he was returned to his father’s home, telling Young that he wanted to stay with her.
Neither parent has given up hope that their son is still alive.
Kyron Horman’s disappearance remains a mystery. Despite speculation about Terri’s involvement, she has never been named a person of interest or a suspect. She currently resides with her parents.
