Kylie Jenner certainly doesn’t live the life of a normal 19-year-old, and she recently revealed one of the crazier tasks she has her housekeeper do for her to keep her business up and running. So of course the lavish teenager has a housekeeper since she currently resides alone in a $35 million rental home where she pays $125,000 a month in rent!
The make-up mogul recently revealed that she has a close relationship with her housekeeper and that she doesn’t just make her do the cooking and cleaning around the house. She also lends her arm to help showcase some of the swatches in Kylie’s make-up collection.
She recently revealed that her housekeeper is her model in an interview.
“My housekeeper, I use her arm for my Snapchats. She has the best arm for swatches. She’s so nice and just sits there and has her arm ready and lets me do my thing. I care a lot about what my products look like when people first see them.”
Kylie Jenner, however, didn’t make it clear if her housekeeper is paid extra for her modeling duties or if she also received compensation in the form of free make-up from her famous collection. Hey, it would only be fair.
The young star has been schooled in business by her older siblings and media mogul mother and is using her youth to her advantage. She releases products on Snapchat and gives her fans exclusive sneak peeks at her items. Jenner also says she takes it incredibly seriously and doesn’t just rely on her family’s famous name to make things work.
“Everyone knows when I’m releasing a product on Snapchat that I will be MIA for the next hour and a half. I’m running around my house, finding the perfect lighting, the perfect swatches,” she said.
She also revealed that creating a make-up line is “her thing” and she had often wondered what it was she was talented at. She grew up watching her sisters be successful at their own talents and always hoped she’d have her own to rely on–and she is incredibly happy she found out that she has a knack for creating incredibly make-up.
“I used to ask my mom, ‘What’s my thing?’ Kendall has modeling, what’s my thing? And I’m just so happy that now I have this. It motivates me every day. I want to expand into a full cosmetics line — foundations, concealers, everything under the sun,” she said.
Kylie Jenner is also in the news lately simultaneously for her break-up with Tyga and her new whirlwind romance with Travis Scott. According to reports, even though she just ended her three-year romance with Tyga, Kylie and Travis are already hot and heavy. She’s already been to Houston to meet the family, and sources are speculating that she’s hoping Travis will pop the question sometime soon.
It has also been reported that the pair will be living together in Kylie’s mansion over the summer to test drive what it is like to live together. Supposedly, Kylie Jenner isn’t interested in Travis footing the bill for his rent or utilities (and they’re probably pretty high considering her rent is more than most people’s yearly salaries!) but instead, she wants him to live there because the house is too big for her. Being all alone there with her dogs, she often feels vulnerable and scared, so having Travis will make her feel just a little bit safer.
The 19-year-old is currently filming her own reality show entitled The Life of Kylie in which she will showcase parts of her life she feels fans have not seen before.
