The internet hasn’t been too kind since news broke that Kylie Jenner and Tyga have gone their separate ways. The 18-year-old was a no-show at the rapper’s 26th birthday party, and the two haven’t been seen together on their usual social media posts, causing the breakup rumors to circulate.
So, what happened? According to TMZ , Kylie Jenner dumped the “Stimulated” rapper on his birthday after she came back from her trip to Australia. An inside source told the celebrity gossip site, “It’s something Tyga did.”
Another report on TMZ also claims that their egos got in the way of their relationship. Sources close to Tyga said that he constantly fought with Kylie over their conflicting schedules. They would argue about which events they would attend, which required the other person to cancel their own plans. Kylie would always make it like her career was more important than his.
In addition, Tyga’s reps are claiming that Kylie Jenner was always complaining about him to her family, and claims their split had nothing to do with infidelity and had everything to do with “pressure from the Kardashians.” Tyga’s people said that their breakup did not happen on their birthday. In fact, it’s something that’s been coming for the past few weeks.
On Thursday morning, E! Online confirmed that the controversial couple have broken up . The entertaiment outlet also confirmed that it was Kylie who was the one who pulled the plug on their relationship. But an inside source tells E! News that the Jenner teen and the rapper are just going through their usual on-and-off affair.
“They are on a break. They were just a week or so ago talking about ‘ever after’ and things got messy this past week. Kylie wants time to just be by herself and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that’s his one and only lady.”
Insiders also claim that Tyga is “devastated” over the news of their split, and denies “doing anything” to end things. While Tyga celebrated his birthday at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood and at 1Oak nightclub, Kylie did not mention his birthday on social media. Neither did she make an appearance at the star-studded bashes which included A$AP Rocky, DJ Samantha Ronson, Wiz Khalifa, Jamie Foxx, and Leonardo DiCaprio, according to E Online! and People .
In one of her Snapchat videos , she’s seen lip-syncing Bryson Tiller’s “Been That Way,” which includes the lyrics “Cut her off that’s what I’m doing, now/Told me I should go out and do my thing/Damn right I do my thing.” In fact, Jenner’s been playing the song repeatedly in most of her recent Snapchat clips.
There are also Snapchat videos that shows Kylie Jenner hanging out with a younger guy who looks nothing like her former boyfriend. That clip went under the radar, but it has some fans wondering if she’s already moved on.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is not crying over the loss of her man though. Kylie took to Instagram on Friday to share a glamorous selfie of herself. Apparently, the photo was taken while Kylie was in Australia promoting her new clothing line with her sister Kendall Jenner. A televised E! News report claims that Kylie included the hashtag #SINGLEAF, but she must have changed it because People says she only included the side-eye emoji and tagged her makeup stylist and hair stylist.
Neither Kylie Jenner nor Tyga have made an official announcement about their split. It may take the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister some time to talk about their relationship though. In her recent blog post , the youngest Jenner teen stated that she likes to keep some things about her life out of the spotlight.
“I’ve never believed in the idea of the public knowing everything about my relationship and every time I break up and makeup. I’m not afraid to show who I’m dating, but I’m also not about to talk every little detail of my relationship.”
Kylie Jenner and Tyga were reportedly dating since October of 2014 when the model was still underage.
