Kristin Chenoweth has taken to Twitter to publicly despair over her so-called “muffin top.”
The singer and actress , who at 4-foot-11 is one of Tinsel Town’s icklest stars, hit the social media hard on March 30, tweeting:
“How can one weigh 88 lbs and still have a muffin top? #itscalledcokacola”
Muffin tops, for those not in the know, occur when a roll of fat droops over the waistline of pants. The result is a protrusion not unlike the shape of, er, a muffin top.
At 88 pounds, it’s fair to say Kristin Chenoweth’s muffin top is something of a surprise (assuming it exists), but E! notes the 44-year-old had no problem strutting around in her bikini this past weekend at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico.
Chenoweth seems to endure her fair share of body image issues. MSN Now notes how she called bikini-shopping “hell on Earth” in a 2011 interview with People . The star added:
“I’m a 32C on top. I have curves! I’m not a stick, so the wrong suit can make me look squatty. I have to watch that.”
Chenoweth, who’s dating 34-year-old reality TV star Jake Pavelka, hit the news earlier this year when she received an apology from American Airlines .
The actress complained after a crew member on her flight from Dallas to Los Angeles became “abusive” toward her when she tried to board a flight with her emotional support dog, Maddie. Chenoweth described how the crew member screamed at her and said she did not have the correct paperwork to bring the dog on board.
