Kristen Taekman and Bethenny Frankel reportedly feuded during The Real Housewives of New York City , and in a new interview, Brandi Glanville weighed in on their drama.
In a March 27 report by Reality Tea , Glanville’s appearance on the Watch What Happens Live After Show was recounted. During the episode, Glanville spoke out about Frankel’s return to the show and revealed how it has impacted her longtime friend, Kristen Taekman.
“She kinda brings like the OG back, except for the fact that she’s giving my best friend a little bit of a hard time on the show! {Kristen Taekman]’s a sweet girl but she can’t deal with Bethenny.”
Host Andy Cohen agreed, telling Glanville, “They don’t click.”
Glanville has known Kristen Taekman for many years, and was the one who suggested she be added to The Real Housewives of New York City , ahead of the show’s sixth season.
As for her relationship with Kim Richards, Glanville said she hadn’t seen her since The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ fifth season reunion. Earlier this year, Glanville claimed her relationship with Richards was strained because of the way Bravo edited The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills .
Speaking to the New York Daily News’ Confidenti@l last month, Kristen Taekman claimed Frankel was making it hard to “get to know her.” According to Kristen Taekman, she was “ecstatic” when she found out Frankel would be returning to Bravo after taking three seasons off and was “really looking forward to getting to know her.” Unfortunately, her high hopes for a friendship were quickly shot down.
“I thought that with Bethenny, it’s like you can’t judge a book by its cover. But I think my tune is changing a little bit… I feel like I was looking forward to really getting to know her, and at this point I feel like that hasn’t really happened in a way that I wanted to.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Kristen Taekman went on to say that the number of women on The Real Housewives of New York City’s seventh season has made it difficult to establish close relationships. Comparing the situation to a family dinner, Kristen Taekman claimed it’s simply less likely to get to know someone in a large group than it would be with a smaller amount of people.
