The Real Housewives of New York star Kristen Taekman was new to the housewives last year, and she was shocked that her marriage ended up being her main storyline. Clearly, Kristen wasn’t thrilled at the way her husband, Josh Taekman, was talking to her throughout the season. Sure, he was stressed, but Kristen wasn’t pleased about it. Shockingly, Heather Thomson wasn’t too understanding, as she herself is an entrepreneur.
When the season ended, Kristen Taekman hadn’t exactly resolved her issues with her husband. In a follow-up statement, Kristen revealed that the show had actually helped her marriage, as they could use the show to see their marriage from the outside looking in. Apparently, that has helped. Now that Taekman is returning to the show, she wanted to give the viewers an update on how things are going.
According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of New York star Kristen Taekman is now revealing that things are great in the Taekman home. Things have actually improved in their marriage, and maybe Josh will show his kind side this season.
“The show was wonderful therapy,” Kristen Taekman revealed, adding, “Our marriage is more balanced than viewers might think. It’s nice to see both sides of an argument. We both had lots to work on and it’s made us stronger!”
Another concern that fans had is in regards to Kristen’s daughter. On the show, her daughter, Kingsley, struggled to walk. She was a bit behind in her development, and Kristen was doing everything possible to get her daughter to walk around on her own. She wasn’t walking when the show ended, but Taekman has a positive update.
“Kingsley is doing great! She started walking about a year ago. She is in school and is not my baby anymore,” Kristen revealed about her daughter, adding about her family, “Josh and I are a normal couple with not-normal careers. What you see on the screen is who we are. And we are a lot stronger than a reality show. Team Taekman all the way! With twelve years, two kids, and one season of reality TV under our belts, we are in it for the long haul.”
Even though Kristen Taekman has been out of the spotlight since the show ended, she recently surfaced to defend her friendship with Brandi Glanville. Brandi has been accused of being an alcoholic, but Kristen has known Brandi for years, and she doesn’t see her friend that way. But Bethenny Frankel may be a strong woman for Taekman. According to the Inquisitr , Taekman has hinted of drama with Frankel.
