Kristen Stewart’s mom outed her daughter as being bisexual during a recent interview. However, Jules Stewart’s comments about Alicia Cargile probably won’t upset Kristen too much.
Kristen Stewart has never confirmed that she and her former assistant are romantically involved, but it’s no secret that she and Alicia Cargile are extremely close — the Daily Mail recently posted a series of photos taken on different days that prove that Kristen and Alicia are basically inseparable. And during an interview with the Mirror , Jules Stewart finally confirmed the suspicions of many who have seen these photos — Kristen is bisexual , and she’s dating Alicia.
“What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy,” Jules revealed. “She’s my daughter, I’m just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices.”
Because Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile have been photographed being openly affectionate in public, perhaps they won’t be angry with Jules for having a “mom moment” by oversharing and speaking so candidly about their relationship.
Jules went on to hint that Kristen and Alicia are getting pretty serious — she’s already met her daughter’s girlfriend, and she’s a fan of Alicia.
“I’ve met Kristen’s new girlfriend, I like her. What’s not to accept? She’s a lovely girl.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, there’s a supposed Kristen quote floating around on the web in which she outright denies her relationship with Alicia.
“If I was a lesbian, I wouldn’t hide it — it’s nothing to be ashamed of!” she allegedly said last April. “Alicia and I are just good friends! That’s all.’”
However, this wasn’t a direct quote from Kristen Stewart. According to the Stir , an unnamed source told gossip blog Showbiz Spy that Kristen “laughed” at the reports before making this comment about Alicia. It doesn’t look like Showbiz Spy even exists anymore, and Gossip Cop has caught the blog telling at least one big K-Stew lie — it once fabricated a quote from a “Hollywood insider” who said that Kristen and Robert Pattinson were considering an offer to star in a romantic comedy about two movie costars who fall in love while working together. In other words, there’s a good chance that Kristen Stewart didn’t actually deny being in a relationship with Alicia, and the quote above was just a fabrication.
During her interview with the Mirror , Jules Stewart also talked about Kristen’s ex-boyfriend. She said that she’s “sad” that Kristen’s relationship with Robert Pattinson played out the way that it did, but she thinks that 25 is too young to get married, anyway.
“They were a great couple, but she’s 25 years old and I’d like to see her have a lot more life experience before she chooses someone to settle down with.”
Jules revealed that Kristen and Rob are actually still friends, but K-Stew won’t get to meet FKA twigs at her ex’s wedding — there’s no truth to the rumors that Kristen scored an invite to their upcoming marriage ceremony.
Perhaps Kristen Stewart will be relieved that her mother has outed her as being bisexual — if everyone takes Jules’ word for it, Kristen won’t have to worry about getting pestered with questions about her sexuality.
