Kris Jenner hopes Khloe and Lamar stay far apart, and the famous “momager” of the Kardashian sisters is reportedly willing to put her foot down if need be.
After Khloe split with rapper French Montana, reports circulated that her ex-husband Lamar Odom might try to win her back. Sources close to the Kardashian/Jenner clan say Kris Jenner is very worried that her vulnerable daughter could get back with Lamar in a moment of weakness.
“Kris always feared this would happen because she knew, as Khloe’s mother, that her daughter wasn’t over Lamar,” a source told Hollywood Life . “Kris feels that Khloe needs to stay single and just heal, something she never really did because she got so hot and heavy with French Montana, which Kris thinks was a total distraction. She always liked French but knew it was a rebound relationship that wouldn’t last.”
Other sources say that Kris may be wiling to step in, as she’s taken an active role in her daughters’ dating lives in the past.
But Kris Jenner may have nothing to fear over Khloe and Lamar. A source told Radar Online that Khloe has no desire to get back with Lamar, especially given their history. The couple had some very high profile troubles before she filed for divorce in December, including Lamar’s reported drug addiction and unwillingness to go to rehab.
“Khloe has showed absolutely no interest in getting back together with him,” the source said. “He has been in contact with Khloe, but she has made it very clear to him that there is no romantic interest on her part. She could never trust Lamar again.”
Sources say Kris Jenner hopes Khloe Kardashian will stay single for a while, believing that she moved on past Lamar and into her relationship with French Montana too quickly. But Khloe may already be ignoring that advice, as she’s been spotted in Los Angeles with friend and former boyfriend Malika Hagg, as well as rapper Jayceon Terrell Taylor, better known as “The Game.”
