Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian may be the proud women behind the Kardashian Kollection but they haven’t always been fashion icons.
Kourtney opened up about some of her biggest fashion regrets in a recent interview and said that her critical sisters are one of the reasons why the Kardashians have been a success in the fashion world.
Kourtney said: “We’re definitely honest with each other… if your sisters can’t tell you that you look ridiculous, who can?”
Kourtney said that all three sisters have an equal input into their fashion line. The girls work on a two against one rule to decide which trends to go with in the Kardashian Kollection.
Kourtney told Hello Magazine : “No one has the final say… We have equal input on every piece and will always brainstorm until we’ve come up with something that we all love in the end. We do have a two against one rule. If two sisters feel very strongly about a design or trend we want to try, we go for it.”
Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian will be releasing the Lipsy line this week and they are hoping that it’s a big week. Of course, the reality stars know that fashion is subjective.
Kourtney said: “There have been so many (fashion regrets). But I don’t consider them regrets. Fashion is so subjective and I think it should be playful.”
The new Lipsy line will launch on Thursday, October 24 at stores in the UK . The new collection features full-lace jumppers, sequin jackets, and will include pieces from about $50 to $250.
Kourtney said: “We wanted to offer something different to what currently exists on the British high street. We spent a lot of time trend forecasting and collaborating on ways to design a fresh line of fashion-forward, affordable luxury. Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy will have some amazing stand out pieces like a full-lace jumper and metallic sequin jackets.”
