Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick seem to be back together, but is their relationship doomed?

For the last few days, rumors have been swirling regarding the couple’s reconciliation after they celebrated Thanksgiving together, and were spotted having lunch together around the same time. And while Kourtney Kardashian, the mother of Disick’s three children, Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, has yet to confirm any such news, her possible partner’s sobriety appears to be headed for a major test just weeks after Disick completed a 30-day treatment program at a Malibu, California, rehab.
On November 29, Entertainment Tonight Online released a report, revealing Kourtney Kardashian and Disick had been spending time together recently , both as a family and by themselves. On Sunday night, Kourtney Kardashian shared an Instagram photo of her family, and around the same time, Disick shared a family photo, as well, possibly confirming they were spending the night together.

Then, days after their alleged reconciliation, news broke of Kourtney Kardashian’s possible partner’s upcoming gig in Las Vegas, where the sometimes-troubled reality star will certainly be faced with tons of temptation. On December 31, Disick is scheduled to appear at 1OAK Nightclub, and as an expert revealed, it isn’t exactly the smartest decision for the reality star.
“Newly sober Scott absolutely should not be hosting a New Year’s eve party in Las Vegas,” addiction expert Steven Ornstein told Hollywood Life on November 30. “In fact, he should not be participating in anything alcohol related as he just got out of rehab for alcohol addiction. His sobriety should be his number one priority right now, and if this means finding a new line of work, so be it.”
“If [Kourtney Kardashian] thinks it’s okay for Scott to be hosting a party in Las Vegas, than she herself is in denial about the severity of his illness… He should be attending AA meeting on a regular basis, and [be] working with an AA sponsor.”
Kourtney Kardashian broke up with Disick over the summer after he was spotted partying hard in the South of France. In photos later shared on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians , Disick was seen getting cozy with his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli. Then, after Kourtney Kardashian broke it off with her former partner, Disick was seen with another woman, 18-year-old model Lindsay Vrckovnik, and the two were rumored to be dating a couple of months ago.
While Disick’s relationship with Kourtney Kardashian seemed all but over just a short while ago, things drastically changed after he agreed to seek help for his substance abuse issues in October, and ever since, the on-and-off couple has given fans reason to believe they will get back together soon — if they haven’t already.
Meanwhile, as Kourtney Kardashian potentially repairs her damaged relationship with Disick, her sister have been dealing with a number of issues themselves. Most notably, perhaps, is Khloe’s ongoing struggles with her husband Lamar Odom’s recent overdose. Odom was hospitalized in October after being found unconscious, and has been in the hospital ever since. And as for Kourtney Kardashian’s other sister, Kim, she is currently awaiting the birth of her second child, a baby boy, with husband Kanye West (the couple also shares a 2-year-old daughter, North West).
