Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are finally engaged after five years and two children together, dispelling rumors that the couple were engaged in a $20 million fight.
Star reports that the couple got engaged in Paris last week. The magazine also reported that the two were there shooting scenes for their reality show, and Disick thought it would be the perfect place to pop the question.
An insider said, “Scott’s actually been planning to propose for a while, but he just wasn’t sure when the moment would be right.”
Disick’s aunt, Laurie Disick, told the magazine, “We’re all so thrilled they’ve finally decided to get engaged. We’re all so fond of Kourtney, and we wish them a long, happy marriage.”
We reported last month that Disick had been shopping for an engagement ring , and an onlooker told Radar , “All of them were large.”
Kardashian and Disick enjoyed some family time with their 2-year-old son, Mason, in Miami Monday. They also have a four-month-old daughter, Penelope.
Later in the day, the reality star received the keys to North Miami along with her sister, Kim.
The Kardashian sisters were given the keys to the city because they will be adding to North Miami’s revenue after deciding to film Kourtney and Kim Take Miami there. The reality show is filming its third season.
Mayor Andre Pierre said, “What can you say about the Kardashians that we don’t already know? Three of the hardest working people in the business: Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney… we are honored by your presence.”
