We all know the saying, “men don’t cry”; well that simply isn’t the case for one man who after seeing Kobe Bryant in person couldn’t stop crying.
MSN Now reported that Bryant was in China to motivate youth and to promote the latest version of his namesake Nike sneaker.
According to a press release from Nike posted on Fibre 2 Fashion , Nike Greater China hosted Kobe Bryant on his eight local tour that included stops in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Xi’An, and finally Shanghai on August eighth.
The release continues on to say that a key part of his tour will be Bryant surprising fan by dropping in at various basketball courts in each city to watch players who have “heeded the call to come out and play basketball at night.”
He is also to the Nike Summer Nights events in Hong Kong, Xi’An and Shanghai, as well as the cross-category sports activations as part of Nike China’s Ignite Shanghai program.
Of course he will also take some time to visit some of the local sights like any good tourist!

Fans completely surrounded Bryant everywhere he went, and one fan just couldn’t take apparent awesomeness that is Kobe Bryant, considering he completely broke down in tears.
The Nanfang translated some of what the overwhelmed man said after he saw Bryant for the first time:
“After seeing Kobe I was overcome with excitement. I couldn’t stop crying. I kept crying.”
This poor guy was so excited that he just kept crying and crying and, well…. crying! It even looks like the little kid in the background is wondering if everything is okay.
It would seem like Kobe Bryant has the special ability to make even grown men cry. Check out the video above!
