Jennifer Lawrence must be quite the kisser — or maybe Hunger Games co-star Josh Hutcherson has a small crush on the actress playing Katniss Everdeen in the book series-turned movie.
Hutcherson confessed in a recent interview that he certainly had no qualms locking lips with Lawrence during The Hunger Games: Catching Fire .
The new movie hits theaters on November 22 and features a love triangle between characters Peeta, Katniss, and Gale. While Hutcherson refused to go into detail about the upcoming movie , he did dish on his character’s relationship with Katniss (Lawrence), saying:
“Katniss and Peeta’s relationship is very complicated. It has a lot of little things that need to be worked out, but it’s good. People, I think, will be very satisfied with it.”
And about kissing Jennifer Lawrence? Josh Hutcherson divulged, “I’d say there’s a natural stirring that happens in your body.” The actor added, “If you’re in the moment and you’re in the scene, then naturally whatever naturally happens is what’s supposed to happen.”
And for Hutcherson, that apparently means he shared one (or more?) steamy kiss with the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence. Along with talking about the kissing, Hutcherson also spoke about Catching Fire , saying:
“On this movie, I think the story kind of opens up a lot. I think there’s a lot more interesting plots that start to develop and everything thickens. We up the overall feel of the movie.”
But the actor was also quick to assure fans of the novels that the movie stays true to the original plot, explaining, “We stay true to the book as always.” Hutcherson also expressed his excitement at working with new additions to the cast, like Philip Seymour Hoffman, adding that it was “pretty incredible” to work with them.
