Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, also known as Kimye, are getting married.
Known for his over-the-top antics, West didn’t disappoint on Monday night. The all-star rapper rented out AT&T Park in San Francisco. That stadium is home to the San Francisco Giants.
West wanted to propose in a unique and apparently crazy way, so he rented out the MLB stadium, invited friends and family to the park, and then popped the question. According to E! “He got down on one knee and proposed with a 15-carat diamond ring by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. A 50-piece orchestra played Lana Del Rey’s Young and Beautiful , followed by Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye’s Knock You Down.”
Kim said yes and the blogosphere blew up with rumors about Kimye’s engagement.
The engagement arrived on the same day as Kim Kardashian’s 33rd birthday .
Apparently Kimye is really into sports, as they are often spotted court side at Los Angeles Lakers games and Kim was sort of married to NBA star Kris Humphries.
In the February issue of Cosmopolitan Kim said, “[Marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don’t have this sense of urgency about it.”
She may not have a sense of urgency about getting married but she now has plenty of planning ahead of her.

The couple have not revealed any details about their wedding date or plans for their special day.
When she isn’t busy planning her upcoming wedding Kim Kardashian can be seen on Instagram showing off her half-naked body to the masses and then complaining about her lack of privacy.
