Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries marriage lasted for 72 days. Their divorce… well, the celebrity couple separated in October in 2011 and now, after nearly a year and a half, they have finalized their divorce.
According to People Magazine , Kardashian and Humphries have been arguing in court for the last several months but they have finally reached an agreement. A judgement was reached on Monday night and now Humphries and Kardashian are officially divorced.
The lengthy divorce process centered around Humphries request to have the marriage annulled. The NBA player wanted to have the marriage annulled because he believes that Kardashian married him for fame and not love. The judge dismissed the request .
Kim and Kris reached a divorce settlement back in April but the divorce wasn’t finalized until today.
The terms of the divorce weren’t disclosed but according to TMZ the settlement heavily favored Kardashian. Still, Humphries is happy that the marriage is finally over.
The NBA player wrote on Twitter: “Couldn’t be happier!”
Now that Kim and Kris are officially divorced the reality star can start planning her next TV wedding. Kim and Kanye West aren’t engaged yet but they are expecting a baby girl soon .
