Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been through their fair share of ups and downs over the past couple years, and now Khloe is reportedly ready to call it quits — for good. According to Radar Online , the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star did make time over the Christmas holiday to stop by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and visit her estranged husband, but now an insider has revealed just how daunting all of the pressure has been for Khloe. In fact, she’s reportedly considering cutting ties with Lamar very soon.
An insider has revealed explained how all of Lamar Odom’s responsibilities have taken a toll on Khloe Kardashian. His condition, medical planning, rehabilitative care, and accounting are quite overwhelming for the 32-year-old reality star. However, that’s not all. Since Lamar’s mental state is still fragile, there’s still one thing Khloe hasn’t quite explained. Apparently, Lamar is under the impression Khloe will be coming back as his wife. So, she’s still uncertain how she’ll explain they have no chance of reconciliation and that she’s only there for moral support.
“It’s a delicate situation because Lamar’s so sensitive and there’s no easy way for Khloe to tell him she’s not coming back [as his wife],” an insider told Radar of Khloe. “She’s finding the whole strain of running his finances and medical planning way too much to bear, since so much of her own life has had to go on hold.”
The insider also revealed Khloe Kardashian has been doing lots of self-medicating lately to escape the marital problems she’s tried to escape from repeatedly. It has been reported that Khloe has been drinking and partying to relieve stress, but at the end of the day, she’s still stuck facing the problems she has with Lamar.
Although his hospitalization halted their divorce proceedings, Khloe has made it clear on several occasions that they will be moving forward with the divorce in the near future. But, not it looks like she’ll be making gratuitous strides to wrap up the divorce much sooner than later. One of the reasons reportedly has to do with salvaging her strained relationship with James Harden. The Houston Rockets shooting guard has been quite patient and understanding for Khloe Kardashian as she’s dealt with Lamar Odom’s sudden brush with death, he’s reportedly growing frustrated with the situation.
“He has been a saint, but he’s getting extremely frustrated at still playing second fiddle to Lamar… That’s why Khloe’s had to start the withdrawal process — she’s terrified of driving James any further away.”

The latest report comes after numerous reports about Khloe Kardashian’s opposition with Lamar Odom’s camp. It’s no secret the former NBA star’s camp aren’t very fond of Khloe. In fact, they are very concerned about Lamar’s future and where he’ll end up once he’s discharged from the hospital. All of these concerns are factors involved in Khloe’s alleged desire to step away from Lamar completely. Once she’s involved in his future plans, she may end up caring for him on a long-term basis. Khloe Kardashian has also been criticized on social media for dating James Harden during Lamar’s life-threatening ordeal, but Khloe fired back with a stinging statement of harsh truths. Back in November, she made it clear Lamar Odom cheated on her during their marriage and that she moved on after their separation.
