Is Kendall Jenner becoming like Kanye West by hitting the paparazzi who may get too near? It appears so, as reports are surfacing about Kendall striking paparazzi in Paris. However, Kendall took to her app to deny that she even touched the man when she and her friend Gigi Hadid were leaving L’Arc nightclub.
“Even though you know about my anger towards the paparazzi – I didn’t touch him. Gigi, security and I were walking out together in a conga-line formation. All of a sudden, this paparazzi (sic) took his camera and started taking pictures right below my face. It was in my personal space, like centimeters from my body. I was so annoyed. All I ask for is just a bubble of space to breathe, and he disrespected that.”
Kendall claims that she only grabbed the man’s camera so she could get it away from her and away from her personal area.

“So, I grabbed his camera and pushed it away across my body, sort of trying to push and pull it out of his hand at the same time. Of course, that side motion with my arm is why all of the pictures look like punches were flying. They totally weren’t! I just wanted him and his camera out of my face!”
Of course, Kendall had a bodyguard with her that night, but he was not in the immediate location to stop the pushy paparazzi from getting in close to Kendall. When her bodyguard finally situated himself between Kendall and the paparazzi, he was able to gain control and forced the man to erase all the pictures he had taken of Kendall.
“I wanted to be 100% that the photos were gone for good because the paps can be sneaky,” she adds. “(Sometimes, they will press delete, and when the camera reconfirms if they actually want to delete it, they quickly press ‘no’ thinking celebrities won’t realize it.) He definitely deleted them, which I’m thankful for. Violence is never my thing. I get that they have a job to do, too – but I’d love it if they gave me a break every now and then.”

Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid were celebrating that night because they had just finished doing the Balmain Fall/Winter 2016 fashion collection. They walked the runway in both the opening and closing segments of the show. Afterwards, they started their celebration at the after party held at the Restaurant Laperouse.
“There are definitely moments when the paparazzi scare me. I’m always more worried about other people’s safety, especially when they’re driving. For example, if the paps run a red light – all twelve of them – and almost kill someone else, I’ll definitely tell them off. I stop, tell them to pull up next to me and I say, ‘You a**holes! Not only are you going to kill yourself, but you’re going to kill innocent people around you.’ I just go off on them. And their responses are, ‘Well, then don’t run away from us.’ I’m not running from anyone – I’m just living my life! I’m not speeding away from them because how can I escape twelve paparazzi? I can’t. It’s kind of impossible.”
Kendall Jenner, who makes a living modeling and appearing on the family’s TV reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians should be used to the constant seeking out that the paparazzi give her and her family. Kendall has grown tired of the constant attention that the paparazzi give her and she would like some time just to be normal without them waiting for her.
Jenner says they are stalking her when she has 10 paparazzi waiting outside her house every day and it leaves her feeling frustrated because she has no say in the matter. Kendall said that she yearns for privacy in her highly public world and she believes that she deserves normal privacy like anyone else.. However, striking out at the paparazzi will gain her national attention, as it has with Kanye West. One can only hope that the photographers can respect her space and her privacy a bit more after this incident.
However, Kendall Jenner feels lucky in having the good support of her friends who understands what she is going through and feels. She says her small circle of friends are able to get her to go with them to the mall and have a good time, completely forgetting that the paparazzi are even around.
How long would it take Kendell Jenner to miss the paparazzi if they suddenly stopped hanging around her wanting to take her picture? Would she be satisfied with the privacy then, or would she miss the exposure and attention that they give her to keep her name known throughout the world?
