Kathy Hilton and her husband, Rick, have opened up their home to Kim Richards. Following the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s exit from a 30-day treatment program in Malibu, California, a Radar Online source confirms she is now living with her older step-sister, Kathy Hilton.
On July 24, a source revealed the following to Radar Online .
“Kim has been at Kathy and Rick’s house since she abruptly left rehab several weeks ago. She has no place else to go, and no one in the family wants to loan her more money. If it wasn’t for her family, Kim would be homeless.”
Kathy Hilton has been caught in the middle of the ongoing feud between Richards and her younger sister, Kyle, for the last couple of years, but while Richards’ relationship with Kyle remains strained, she and Kathy Hilton are still on good terms.
According to the site, Kathy Hilton’s troubled reality star sister has recently been fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , and has no other current offers on the table. Although Richards claimed she had been asked back to the show by Bravo, Radar Online insists that was not the case. Instead, producers are refusing to work with her — and Richards is in complete denial about the issue.
“Even though Kim’s job prospects continue to look hopeless, she insists that producers for RHOBH will absolutely ask her back to the show. According to Kim, she was the star, and her fans want to see her back on the show. Even though Kathy has told her that isn’t a possibility, Kim refuses to listen.”
In addition, while Kathy Hilton and Richards appear to be doing well currently, the source claimed Richards was “starting to wear out her welcome.”
“All she does all day is complain about how she ended up in this situation.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kathy Hilton’s younger sister left rehab earlier this month after a 30-day program addressing her ongoing addiction struggles with alcohol , and already, she’s missed a reported four outpatient treatment sessions. According to a Radar Online report earlier this month, Richards could be risking her sobriety by failing to attend meetings .
“The rehab program directors are just assuming that Kim isn’t returning to treatment there, and no one is going to chase her down and try to force it on her. She did not get along with hardly anyone there to begin with and when she left she had not even really started her intended program, which was at least three months.”
Kathy Hilton has yet to speak out about Richards’ current living situation.
