Kate Winslet’s wedding ring has finally been revealed after the actress stepped out in Hampshire, England on Monday.
Winslet, who married Ned Rocknroll in a secret ceremony in December, showed off her gold wedding band and engagement ring while out and about without her new husband.
The Titanic actress also bundled up in a floral scarf, black coat, and jeans, according to E! Online . Kate Winslet, 37, married Rocknroll, 34, in a “private ceremony attended by her two children and a very few friends and family.”
She was apparently given away by her very good friend and fellow actor Leonardo DiCaprio. The couple got engaged last summer. Her husband is the nephew of Virgin billionaire Richard Branson.
The marriage is Kate Winslet’s third. She was married to director Jim Threapleton between 1998 and 2001. She then married director Sam Mendes in 2003. The couple was divorced in 2010. Winslet has one child from each marriage: Joe, 9, and Mia, 12.
Winslet showed off her shiny ring when she stepped out for the first time since her wedding in December, notes Us Magazine . Her outfit was casual and perfect for grocery shopping in Hampshire.
Her plain gold band is traditional, unlike the white gold or platinum bands that are usually more popular. Kate Winslet gained popularity when she played the role of Rose in Titanic , alongside DiCaprio, who played Jack. The actress has one an Oscar, an Academy Award, and two Golden Globes, along with several other accolades.
