If speculation is to be believed, heavily pregnant Kate Middleton is currently four days overdue with her second child. But rather than being overawed with her elongated pregnancy a source has revealed that the Duchess Of Cambridge is handling her upcoming birth very well.

A source told Us Weekly , via the Irish Independent , that Middleton is in “good spirits.” However, they also teased that she would like to give birth to her son or daughter sooner rather than later.

“She’s well, in good spirits. Although it would be fair to say also eager for the time to come.”

Meanwhile, a shop assistant at Zara Home, located just a few minutes away from Middleton’s home at Kensington Palace, also revealed that she saw the Duchess just a few days ago, explaining that she looked incredibly calm.

Speaking to People magazine, via the Telegraph , the employee remarked, “She looked so calm. You couldn’t really tell that she was pregnant because she looked so great. I mean, she was wearing heels. She was so nice and polite, I was really impressed.”

Ahead of the birth of her second child Ken Whare, the former head of security at Kensington Palace, has explained to Us Weekly that security will be beefed up before Middleton goes into labor.

“Currently, William and Kate have a protection team, I would imagine, of somewhere in the region of about six and eight between them, with the resources calling upon additional security should they need it. In amongst that team, you have an additional two people that will be solely responsible for the protection of George. [When the new baby arrives,] security will be increased again by probably another one.”

Kate Middleton is due to give birth in the next few days. Over the last few months, it was speculated that the Duchess Of Cambridge would give birth either as early as April 15 or at least by the end of April. However, in recent days rumors have amassed that Middleton was due to give birth four days ago.

In the meantime, Middleton has been spending most of her time at her Kensington Palace apartment alongside her son, Prince George, and their dog, Lupo. She has been visited by her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, and her mother, Carole Middleton, has also been helping her through her last days of pregnancy.

It’s been suggested that if Middleton doesn’t give birth in the very near future, her birth will be induced by doctors.
