Kate Middleton And Prince William Always Planned On Having Kids Close In Age

Kate Middleton and husband Prince William proudly announced recently that their son, Prince George, will have a new baby brother or sister some time soon as the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting.

According to an inside Royal source, the Duchess and the Prince had always planned to have kids close together as a way of mirroring their own childhoods. Kate is only a year older than her sister Pippa, and William is older than Harry by two years.

Kate, who announced last week that she was in the early stages of her second pregnancy, hopes that baby George, aged 13 months, and the new Royal baby, will enjoy the same strong bond she and William enjoyed with their siblings growing up due to their closeness in age.

According to reports, Kate firmly believes that her bond with sister Pippa is mainly due to their close age proximity, and, apparently, William feels the same.

The Mirror reported that on Saturday the Royal source told them,

“Kate and William’s pregnancy is great news and seemingly out of the blue. But the truth is I’m not at all surprised. They’ve both made no secret of the fact that they enjoy having siblings close in age and that they share very special relationships with them. It’s lovely that Kate has conceived so quickly again. Obviously not so lovely is this bout of morning sickness she is having to deal with. It’s not pleasant at all but she is being cared for very well.”

It was also reported last week that Kate Middleton, who is approximately seven weeks pregnant , is suffering from a bad case of hyperemesis gravidarum, better known as morning sickness. This landed her in hospital when she was pregnant with George, leading to rumors that the new baby may well be a boy as well.

Due to the bad bout of morning sickness, the Duchess has been forced to pull out of a number of pre-planned public engagements, including at this weekend’s Invictus Games at the Olympic Park in East London.

For the time being, as the inside source told the publication, Kate Middleton is being looked after at the palace and treated by medical professionals. “She is being looked after by the surgeon gynecologist to the Queen, Alan Farthing, and the surgeon gynecologist to the royal household, Guy Thorpe-Beeston.”
