Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown’s fans may be holding out hope that the former longtime couple will reunite in the future, but it looks like Karrueche is putting the Chris Brown reunion rumors to rest.
Karrueche Tran split from Chris Brown earlier this year after learning that Brown had fathered a child with another woman, but it appears both Chris Brown and Karrueche’s fans are begging the duo to get back together.
Despite the reunion rumors, Karrueche Tran shut down the possibility of a relationship with ex Chris Brown in a new interview, while also revealing that she has no plans to get back into the dating scene.
Recently, Karrueche Tran sat down for an interview with Richard Akuson while visiting Nigeria to discuss her current work projects while also reflecting on her former relationship with Chris Brown.
On being invited to visit Nigeria, Karrueche admits that her trip has been “great so far,” while adding that she’s received “a lot of great feedback” from fans, Bella Naija reports.

Karrueche also opened up about her current role on The Bay , explaining that it’s “very great to be a part of that cast and to be a part of that production. Especially for me, ’cause I’m a new actor. I’ve been doing this for the past 2-3 years, so, it’s great to be a part of that.”
Karrueche further explains that she has several editorials coming out in the next few months while also taking time to promote her new temporary tattoo line.
When asked about what she has learned from her experience with Chris Brown, Karrueche Tran admits that she has learned to “love and respect” herself and has begun to focus more on her career and invest in her future. Similarly, Karrueche Tran admits that it’s “unfortunate” that she will likely always be tied to Chris Brown because of their tumultuous relationship before noting that she has learned to ignore the negativity and move forward with her life.
While Karrueche Tran has ignited dating rumors with several men since splitting from Chris Brown earlier this year, Karrueche admits that she wants to remain single for “a while” so that she can focus on herself and further develop her career.
“I am single. I plan to be that way for a while. Cause, I really just want to focus on me right now and my career.”
Karrueche further adds that she “messed up in the beginning” of her relationship with Chris Brown by not focusing on herself first and explains that she plans to be “single for a while” until she can get herself “together as a woman.”

Karrueche’s interview comes just days after Chris Brown shared a video clip of himself teasing new music on Instagram that appears to be aimed at Tran.
In one video, Chris Brown can be seen singing along to an unnamed track while singing, “I remember when we used to be in love / Now you Hollywood, tryna get your name up / Now when I look at you, all I see is a stranger,” leading fans to believe the track is aimed at Brown’s former romance with Karrueche.
Just one day later, Karrueche released her own video in response to Chris Brown’s diss track by insinuating that her ex-boyfriend is “petty” for penning a song about their breakup, Urban Islandz reports.
Similarly, Karrueche Tran made headlines last week for reportedly “laughing” at Chris Brown after the “Loyal” singer took to Twitter to announce that he is looking for a “soulmate” and isn’t interested in living the single life.
