According to Heat , a very reliable source claims that West spends $120,000 a year just for trimming his hair. The source in question is the dad of pop singer Rihanna.

Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, learned that West spends $500 a haircut when the rapper and his daughter were on tour together in 2010. He said West had a haircut every day. Fenty was flabbergasted by what West’s haircut.
“It’s crazy – he pays his barber $500 a time. I don’t understand how that much hair gets taken off. Kanye just loves the fresh look.”
Heat had a chance to interview Ibn Jasper, the hairstylist West met in Chicago two decades ago.

“He asked me to move to New York City and I told him, ‘When you can pay me what I make in my shop, I’ll move,’” Jasper recalled.
If West pays $500 per haircut every day, it would add up to $182,550, three times higher than the average income in the U.S. It costs more than a person’s rent in New York City.
The annual median cost of college in the U.S. stands at $18,943 for a four-year public college, and $31,231 for a four-year private college. You could pay for your entire college education with what Kanye spends on his haircut and still have money left over to make a downpayment on a house. Ironically, Kanye never even bothered to finish college. He even named his first multi-platinum selling album College Dropout .

His net worth is reportedly $130 million as of September 2015. West is just 38-years-old, but he has made a sizable fortune out of his music career.
West took the top 20 spot of Forbes’ Highest-Paid Celebrities in 2014, while he was at the No. 59 spot in 2013, which means his Yeezus album and tours had contributed a lot to his 2014 earnings.
