Kanye West and daughter North spent the day together in Calabasas, California, on Monday without Kim Kardashian. The Daily Mail has the news .
“Doting dad Kanye held onto North’s hand and guided her down the sidewalk as they exited the building. The stylish two-year-old went barefoot and wore a slouchy white top and matching pants, with her gorgeous brown curls framing her face.”
The Daily Mail notes that North’s cousin Penelope tagged along. As usual, some suspected that since Kim wasn’t in the picture, a separation or divorce is in the works. Radar Online fueled divorce rumors a couple weeks back.
“As the birth of her son approaches, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Kim Kardashian is afraid Kanye West could soon leave her,” the tabloid website reported. They go on to list reasons. One of them is because Kim Kardashian has allegedly become very “hormonal” during the pregnancy.
This story was eventually debunked by Gossip Cop . However, it appears that West isn’t letting the divorce rumors phase him one single bit. As a matter of fact, according to MusicTimes , West is still continuing with his 2020 presidential bid.
“West played in to the rumors that he’s planning a presidential bid and switched the lyrics in the middle of his collaboration with Paul McCartney ‘Only One’ and snuck a hint about his presidential campaign plans by changing the lyrics to (‘You’ll be the man you always knew you could be – 2020’).”
Comments under an article on the topic posted by Entertainment Tonight weren’t enthusiastic about the possibility of a Kanye West presidency.
“Thats when the world will explode!!!” wrote commenter Ruby Wilson.
“Oh please. Do yourself a favor and go hide. What an idiot,” wrote David Duncan.
It doesn’t seem that Twitter is happy about Kanye West’s upcoming presidential campaign either.
“If you have any thoughts on voting for Kanye West as president, you’re an idiot,” tweeted @Levi_Croft.
“Why would Kanye West want to be president? That would be awful. He would turn the White House into his face,” tweeted @bailyyxavier .
Kanye West is getting ready to launch his new album SWISH , but it could be an uphill battle. West’s last album, Yeezus, was certified platinum, but actually sold less than 700k, according to MusicTimes . With the exception of his contribution to Rihanna’s hit single “FourFiveSeconds,” Kanye West hasn’t had a legitimate hit single in years. Let’s hope that SWISH gives West the career boost he needs.
