Is Kaley Cuoco about to ditch The Big Bang Theory for a role on The Bachelorette ? Well, it sounds like it could be happening if host Chris Harrison has his way.
According to Us Weekly , Harrison just admitted that he’s crossing his fingers that Cuoco will be looking for love on the next season of ABC’s The Bachelorette , after admitting that she’d be “great” at trying to find a partner on the popular reality show.
“Kaley would be great. I would love that,” Chris, who has hosted the ABC dating show since it first began in 2002, recently admitted, revealing that he thinks he’s hoping to chat about her possible love interests over a glass of wine.
“She’s an old friend of mine from the ABC days,” Chris said of Kaley Cuoco, “and I think she likes to drink wine as much as I do.”
Kaley has been single since splitting with former husband Ryan Sweeting back in September, after which Cuoco’s sister Briana told Entertainment Tonight that her sister was “so happy” since ending her marriage.
Briana also revealed to the site what kind of man she’d like to see her famous sister end up with – potential Bachelorette suitors listen up! – admitting that she wants Kaley to find someone who’s “not a jerk.”
“She has a really great sense of humor so someone who makes her laugh and makes her feel comfortable and confident in what she’s made for herself in her life,” Kaley’s sister told Entertainment Tonight of Cuoco’s perfect man.
Briana also confessed in the interview that both she and Kaley were huge fans of The Bachelor and appeared to hint that both may possibly be open to starring on the show.
“I would never want to be a contestant, I would just want to be the Bachelorette,” Cuoco admitted to the site at the time. “But I think that’s harder. Being the one person, with so many men, it would make me sad. I feel like it’s really difficult to do that,” Cuoco said. “I don’t want to hurt anybody!”
While Kaley’s possible involvement in Season 12 of The Bachelorette , which is expected to debut in May, is just speculation right now, Kaley certainly hasn’t made any secrets of her love of the ABC series herself in the past.
Just last month, Cuoco admitted that she was left “speechless” when she chatted with current Bachelor Ben Higgins on a recent episode of The Bachelor Live .
“I’ve never been speechless, I don’t know what to say!” Kaley told Ben according to Entertainment Weekly , before she admitted that she thinks Ben Higgins was “the sweetest Bachelor ever.”
Cuocu then proved that she’d make a great contestant on the series when it came to asking the probing questions about love, asking Higgins on The Bachelor after show “are you in love?”
Just days later, Kaley confessed during an appearance on E!’s Live From The Red Carpet from the 2016 SAG Awards that she was actually “overly obsessed” with the show that helps the public to find love and couldn’t seem to stop herself from gushing over Ben all over again.
“Is he here? Is he nominated for a SAG Award tonight for hottest Bachelor of all time?” Cuoco joked on the red carpet last month when quizzed about her intense love of the dating show.
“I’m just a little overly obsessed with [Ben],” Kaley continued. “I think he’s adorable, charming, the most interesting Bachelor we’ve had,” Cuoco confessed, “I have been enjoying this season so much. And he’s adorable.”
