Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are engaged, and after The Bachelorette finale, the two went on Jimmy Kimmel to talk about their time on the show, and the current status of their relationship (they are still together). According to Us Weekly , the couple was asked about a major mistake that they made a few weeks ago when Kaitlyn Bristowe accidentally posted a photo of her and Shawn on Snapchat, basically spoiling the show’s ending for thousands of fans.
“We were sending Snaps to one of the producers. [And then] I pick up my phone to go on Twitter, and there’s hundreds of pictures of my stupid face laying in bed with her. I started having a panic attack. I couldn’t even breathe,” Shawn recalled.
Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth may have been the worst kept secret in Bachelor/ette history thanks to their Snapchat mistake. While she thought she had sent the bed photo (below) to a show producer, she actually added it to her “Snap Story,” which all of her followers were able to see. By the time she and Shawn realized what had happened, thousands of people had seen the picture.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , the show’s host, Chris Harrison , recently spoke out about Kaitlyn’s mistakes, and how she took it upon herself to break the rules at times. He said that Kaitlyn created a lot of problems for herself, but that she really was just “trying to do the right thing.”
“She has put some land mines out there and stepped on them, and at times, I’ve made it very public, she can be her own worst enemy. But the thing that I find endearing about her is that it’s all out of honesty and trying to do the right thing,” Harrison said.
Everything seemed to work out in the end, however.
Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth also took an oath of sorts while visiting Kimmel. According to People Magazine , the two agreed to pay Jimmy $1,000 if they split up less than one year after getting engaged.
“Twice a year for like 13 years now, we’ve seen people get together. They come on the show and they seem to be very much in love … And then the next thing we know, we see them on the cover of a magazine with a tear down the center. Quite frankly, my heart can’t take it anymore,” Kimmel said.
