Breaking! Are you waiting for Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience to hit stores on March 19? Are you excited for that digital download to enter your music account? You no longer have to wait, because now you can listen to Timberlake’s album in its entirety via iTunes for free.
The music buying platform has decided to release Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience for free via their streaming service for fans who just can’t wait until its March 19 delivery. Perhaps this is an extra push for the album after it was announced that Timberlake’s song with Jay-Z “Suit & Tie” went platinum recently in the US for digital sales.
Either way, you can get a first listen to Timberlake’s entire album, which features 10 tracks, with a few songs running at an extended six minute length each.
Those who already pre-ordered Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience were able to listen to Timberlake’s second single “Mirrors”, which has been climbing the charts, but not as fast as “Suit & Tie”.
Of the production on the album Timberlake has said:
“It’s all me and Tim. This album goes a lot of different directions. I think there is probably a little bit of what’s reminiscent of the first album and a little bit of reminiscent of the second album and some new stuff.”
While people at first suggested that there would be collaborations with Beyonce, Elton John, and even Kanye West , the latter which we all know is highly unlikely. However, none of those collaborations are on Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience.
Timberlake explains the possibility of collaborations in the future: “We didn’t do anything on this for mine, but that’s not to say down the road there can’t be a single version of something. But yeah, it’s a lot of me and Tim.”
To promote the album Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z are going on a North American stadium wide tour that kicks off in Toronto on July 17.
