Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez stepped out together in Las Vegas last night (May 18).
The pair, widely thought to be more than ex-lovers and just good friends, went to the Mirage to see Cirque du Soleil’s Love , a production celebrating the music of The Beatles.
Just before the show began, Bieber, and presumably Gomez, tried to slip inside unnoticed. But a bystander yelled out the Canadian’s name, a source tells People.
The source added that as soon as the show started, the Spring Breakers actress began “nuzzling right into” her rumored beau.
The pair apparently knocked back an assortment of M&M candies and Mike and Ike, eased down with Sprite and apple juice. It’s unclear why that’s important.
Both Bieber, 19, and Gomez, 20, are performing at the Billboard Music Awards tonight. Widely believed to be sitting next to each other at the show, they are expected to be joined by mutual friend Taylor Swift in the front row.
Evidently up for mingling on awards eve, the “Boyfriend” singer also hung out with five-division boxing world champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather and his daughter Iyanna on Saturday.
As boxing fans will recall, Bieber walked Mayweather into the ring for his May 5 fight last year against Miguel Cotto (which he later won), along with rappers Lil Wayne and 50 Cent.
Iyanna, who celebrated her 13th birthday on Saturday, is a Bieber fan and has met the singer a number of times. Back in September, she famously received a peck on the cheek from the teen star at his Believe tour concert in Las Vegas.
Obligingly dropping in on the celebrations last night, Bieber posed for pictures with the birthday girl and Mayweather. The delighted father later tweeted:

Tonight, as well as the star-studded array of artists, presenters and guests who will pack out Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, all eyes will be on a certain young couple who may — or may not — finally go properly public.
The 2013 Billboard Music Awards airs live on abc at 8 pm ET.
