Johnny Manziel threw a party so out of control on Friday that he ended up getting himself and two of his Cleveland Browns teammates suspended for the team’s season finale.

There were reportedly a number of Browns players in attendance at the party, including wide receiver Josh Gordon. Manziel was suspended by the team when he was late the next day for a treatment, and Gordon was suspended Saturday for violating team rules.

Within one day, rookie cornerback Justin Gilbert was also disciplined and deactivated for the regular season finale against the Baltimore Ravens.

The party came just days after Johnny Manziel made a public apology for his conduct this season, in which he reportedly didn’t take the work seriously .

“I’m not the guy that I’ve always been,” said Johnny Manziel. “I’m not the Johnny Manziel that came in here a year ago. It’s been a year of growing up for me.”

But Johnny Manziel has also been unapologetic for his partying, including sharing pictures on social media of himself flashing stacks of money.

The suspension could mark the end of Josh Gordon’s career in Cleveland. He was coming off a 10-game suspension for repeated drug violations, and with the suspension in the final game, he will leave him one game short of the requirement for an accrued season. That means he will be a restricted free agent after the 2015 season, rather than an unrestricted free agent.

Like Manziel, Gordon has also spoken publicly about being more committed to his team.

“I just want to control what I can control, and that’s playing my hardest and working my hardest, 16 weeks next season and these last six games this season, however long I’m in Cleveland,” he said. “That’s just what I want to do.”

Josh Gordon’s camp is reportedly trying to get him paid for the last week of the season. Johnny Manziel also goes into the offseason with a lot of uncertainty. He looked poor in his limited work this season, and may not have a chance to start next season either.
