For the first time in recent Duggar family history, a daughter made it through one year of marriage without a pregnancy announcement. Counting On star Jinger Duggar-Vuolo celebrated her one-year anniversary this past weekend with husband Jeremy Vuolo, and her man celebrated their love by gushing about her on social media. But some people are convinced that just because there has been no announcement, it doesn’t mean there is no baby on the way.
In a loving Instagram post, the former professional soccer player captioned a black and white photo of the two holding hands and touching foreheads by writing that his wife is “the woman of his dreams” and “staggeringly beautiful.” PopCulture.com reports that the couple appears more in love than ever in the sweet pic.
But just being newlyweds who are young and in love doesn’t seem to be enough for some fans, who insist on finding pregnancy hints in everything the couple does. Duggar tradition dictates that the women in the family get married and start having babies right away, and since that hasn’t happened for the Vuolos, many are getting impatient for baby news.
According to In Touch Weekly , a video post from just a couple of days before their anniversary is another hint for some that Jinger Duggar-Vuolo is expecting. In the clip, the 23-year-old seems distant and not her usual bubbly self, and her tired appearance is the reason fans are convinced there is a baby on the way.
Fans are constantly debating why the couple hasn’t done the baby thing like her sisters, and one of the theories is that the Vuolo’s are using birth control, which is against her parents’ conservative religious beliefs.
But, whatever the reason is for not getting pregnant in the first year, the pair has a long-term plan. According to Romper , the couple confirmed that they would like to start a family in the first five years and “see what the Lord does,” adding that it would be amazing if God blesses them with kids. However, unlike the other women in her family, she has not said that she will leave a number of kids she has “up to God.” So, the rebel Duggar is still seemingly doing things her own way.
