Jessica Biel is pregnant. According to a new report, Biel and her husband, Justin Timberlake, kept their baby news a secret for months. But now, their secret is out after Timberlake’s former N’SYNC bandmate, Joey Fatone, confirmed the pregnancy to a magazine.
“He told me a while ago, and I kept my mouth shut,” Fatone revealed in the new issue of In Touch Weekly , according to a December 16 report. “But now I can talk about it!”
As the Inquisitr reported, Jessica Biel’s reported pregnancy first began making headlines in October, after the former 7th Heaven actress appeared to be sporting a baby bump on a beach in Australia. Later that month, according to a second Inquisitr report, sources revealed Biel to be “at least” three months along . In November, pregnancy rumors swirled further after Timberlake appeared solo at the American Music Awards.
“Close friends are buzzing that she’s pregnant,” a source told OK! Magazine . “Jessica hasn’t been going out lately, with the excuse that she’s not feeling well — but she’s so healthy, she never gets sick.”
According to the magazine’s source, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s marriage was strained earlier in the year, when photos surfaced of Timberlake and another woman in Paris. A short time later, Biel reportedly few to Australia, where she joined Timberlake on his world tour.
“Jessica was devastated when she saw the pictures,” said the source. “But she’s been a lot more emotional in general over the past month or two.”
Apparently, Biel has been wanting a baby in the years since their wedding, but Timberlake hasn’t been on board. “Justin promised her they’d try, then he changed his mind,” the source alleged. “Now Jessica is hoping this good news will cure his cold feet.”
If Biel is pregnant, as Fatone confirmed, Timberlake will have to shake his cold feet quick, as reports claim the star is due early next year.
In an interview with E! News last year, Biel discussed her desire to become a mother. “I don’t know,” she said of when she and Timberlake would start planning for a baby. “I’m not quite sure about sooner or later, but definitely at some point.”
“Jessica is awesome, and Justin is a kid at heart,” he said. “[They’ll have] fun.”
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have been married since October 19, 2012, when they tied the knot in Italy. The couple began dating in January of 2007 and became engaged in December of 2011.
