Jessa Duggar recently shared some sad news with her fans, and it’s related to her pregnancy. There’s nothing wrong with the mom or her unborn child, but it sounds like Jessa’s pregnancy issue had her reaching for a tissue — or maybe a napkin.
According to SheKnows , the 19 Kids and Counting star recently shared a pregnancy update with her fans on Instagram. Instead of posting another baby bump photo, Jessa Duggar got a bit emotional while revealing her latest pregnancy craving: already-salty chicken seasoned with her hormone-induced tears.
“How is it that being pregnant can make this such an emotional moment? #TheLastNugget,” Jessa captioned the photo below. As you can see, she was having a hard time saying goodbye to her box of Chick-fil-A nuggets. The mom-to-be is only 24 weeks into her pregnancy, so she’s going to experience many more of these sad food farewells.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jessa Duggar isn’t the only member of the Duggar clan who is a huge Chick-fil-A fan — her older sister Jill has also done her part to save the cow population by trying to “eat mor chikin.” In fact, Jill Duggar loves Chick-fil-A so much that she believes that the fast food will be served in the afterlife.

Jill was pregnant with baby Israel when she shared the Instagram photo above, so apparently Chick-fil-A pregnancy cravings run in the Duggar family. As you can see, Jill managed to get her husband, Derick Dillard, hooked on her favorite fast food.
Perhaps the Duggars give Chick-fil-A so much free advertising because the company’s chief operating officer, Dan Cathy, shares their family’s views on same-sex marriage — by now most 19 Kids and Counting fans know that the Duggars aren’t exactly supporters of the LGBT community. Jessa Duggar might enjoy Chick-fil-A chicken, but she’s probably picking the pickles off of her chicken sandwiches. It also sounds like she’s not washing down her meals with a cup of the fast food chain’s sour lemonade, and she can’t enjoy its milkshakes for dessert.
“I thought I’d crave pickles and lemons because my mother did, but I couldn’t stand them,” Jessa told PEOPLE of her pregnancy cravings . “And one day I suddenly couldn’t do dairy. I would sit and bed and eat crackers, hoping the nausea would pass.”
Jessa Duggar’s due date is November 1, so Chick-fil-A can look forward to a few more months of free Instagram advertising.
